IMPROVEMENT OF VENTURE INVESTMENT DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract


Introduction. Venture investment is one of the main tools to ensure the innovative development of the economy. Thanks to venture capital investment, a business with high growth potential in various fields is supported and, accordingly, increases its competitiveness and ensures economic security. At the present stage, the development of the venture industry in Ukraine is negatively affected by such factors as insufficient regulatory framework, underdevelopment of the stock market, lack of transparency in the financial activities of companies, lack of guarantees for investors, and the like. Purpose. The aim of the research was to fulfill the task of exploring ways to improve the development of venture investment, using foreign experience and identify problems whose solution will improve the investment climate in Ukraine. Results. Thus, venture investment in Ukraine is developing more and more every year, this is evidenced by data on the number of venture capital funds, the volume of venture investments is increasing. However, this system is far from ideal, therefore, ways to improve it need to be considered. In order to improve the development of venture investment in Ukraine, one should take advantage of foreign experience, invest venture capital in innovation, and attract state support. The state should stimulate the development of this sphere, since it will positively affect the economy and the state as a whole. Discussion. The venture capital market in Ukraine is just beginning to develop, but it is doing this quite successfully. Therefore, using foreign experience and correcting mistakes, it is enough to simply achieve success in this area.
